LAVONIA, Ga. – Two men have been taken into custody following a Thursday shooting at Beaver Creek Trailer Park in Franklin County that prompted an hours-long search and heavy law enforcement presence.

Arrests Made After Day-Long Search

The Lavonia Police Department confirmed that Justice Spencer, 26, and Koran Norman, 28, were arrested just after 9 p.m. Thursday within the city limits of Lavonia. Officers pursued both suspects on foot before taking them into custody without incident.

Both men face aggravated assault charges in connection with the shooting.

Law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire at Beaver Creek Trailer Park around 12:30 p.m. No injuries were reported, but residents were urged to remain indoors, lock their doors, and review security footage for anything unusual.
