Atlanta Police Release Photos of Persons of Interest, Vehicles Linked to Triple Shooting Near Greenbriar Mall

ATLANTA, GEORGIA — Police are searching for three individuals and multiple vehicles believed to be connected to a triple shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in southwest Atlanta, just south of Greenbriar Mall, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

Three Men Hospitalized After Shooting

Officers responded to the Village on the Green Apartments around 1:15 p.m. Friday, after reports of gunfire inside one of the units.

When police arrived, they discovered that three adult men had already checked themselves into a nearby hospital suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Capt. Germain Dearlove with the Atlanta Police Department.

Confrontation Inside Apartment

Detectives believe the gunfire erupted inside one of the apartments during a confrontation between two separate groups. Investigators say the incident may have been narcotics-related, though no arrests have yet been made.

“Evidence suggests a dispute inside the apartment led to shots being fired,” Capt. Dearlove said. “At this point, we’re working to identify everyone involved and determine what led to the exchange.”

Persons of Interest and Vehicles Sought

The Atlanta Police Department has released surveillance images showing three people and three vehicles that may be connected to the case. The photos were captured near the scene shortly before and after the shooting.

Investigators have not released the names of the individuals but say they are considered persons of interest who could help detectives understand the sequence of events leading up to the gunfire.

Police Ask for Public’s Help

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicles to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).

“We’re asking anyone who recognizes the people or vehicles in these photos to contact investigators,” police said in a statement. “Even the smallest detail could help bring resolution to this case.”

Tipsters who provide information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.

Ongoing Investigation

As of Saturday, all three victims were reported to be in stable condition, though investigators have not yet disclosed the specific nature of their injuries or whether any of them were involved in the confrontation.

The Atlanta Police Homicide–Aggravated Assault Unit continues to lead the investigation with assistance from Crime Stoppers and the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities are also reviewing forensic evidence and witness statements from nearby apartments and businesses to determine what triggered the shootout.

Residents in the area say they’ve grown increasingly concerned about gun violence near apartment complexes in the Greenbriar community, with several shootings reported in recent months.

“It’s happening way too often,” said one resident, who asked not to be identified. “You can’t even feel safe in your own home anymore.”

Anyone with footage or additional details is urged to contact police directly or submit information through the Atlanta PD online tip portal.
