Texas Police Officers Perform CPR to Save Baby Trapped Under Overturned Vehicle
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — In a life-or-death moment caught on body camera, Texas police officers rushed to save a baby’s life after discovering the infant unresponsive beneath an overturned vehicle following a violent car crash.
According to Fort Worth Police, officers arrived at the crash scene on Wednesday morning to find a vehicle flipped over on the side of a rural road. Inside and partially pinned beneath the wreckage was a baby who showed no signs of movement or breathing.
One of the officers immediately began performing CPR, while others cleared debris and comforted the panicked driver.
Officers’ Quick Action Saves Infant’s Life
Bodycam footage released by police shows the tense rescue as officers worked frantically to revive the baby, using firm chest compressions and checking for breathing as seconds passed.
“Come on, baby, stay with me!” one officer can be heard saying as another called for emergency medics.
Moments later, the baby took a shallow breath — prompting emotional relief among the officers on scene.
Paramedics arrived soon after and transported both the driver and the infant to a nearby hospital. Authorities later confirmed both were in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
