GBI Investigates Death of 38-Year-Old Woman in Liberty County Mobile Home Park
WALTHOURVILLE, GEORGIA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating the death of a 38-year-old woman whose body was discovered inside a Liberty County mobile home earlier this week.
Body Found in Mobile Home
Authorities confirmed the victim as Marissa Taylor of Walthourville, whose body was found around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, at the Coastal Woods Mobile Home Park off Shaw Road.
Deputies with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call reporting a death. Upon arrival, officers located Taylor’s body inside the residence.
Foul Play Suspected
Investigators say foul play is suspected, though officials have not released further details about possible suspects or causes of death.
Taylor’s body has been transported to the Coastal Crime Lab in Pooler for an autopsy, which is expected to provide more insight into the circumstances surrounding her death.
