Tennessee Man Surrenders After Fatal Clarksville Shooting, Charged With Homicide
CLARKSVILLE, TENNESSEE — A 20-year-old man has been charged with homicide after turning himself in to authorities following a fatal shooting in Clarksville earlier this week.
Suspect in Custody
According to the Clarksville Police Department, Zyaire D. Northington surrendered to the Montgomery County Jail on Wednesday evening. He was wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday night near 495 Ringgold Road, leaving 20-year-old Kamren Castro dead.
Police Say Shooting Was Not Random
Investigators emphasized that the shooting was “isolated and not random,” though no further details about a possible motive have been released. Northington was sought under a homicide warrant issued earlier that day before he turned himself in.
