Mecklenburg County Twin Brothers Accused of Supplying Drugs and Alcohol to Minors
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Twin brothers from Mecklenburg County with a history of criminal charges are back in custody, this time accused of supplying illegal drugs and alcohol to minors, according to the Huntersville Police Department.
Police Raid Leads to Arrests
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, around 2:30 p.m., detectives executed search warrants at the residence of Christopher and Carlos Clark, both 22. Officers reported finding large amounts of drugs, cash, and a firearm during the search.
Allegations of Supplying Minors
Investigators allege the Clark brothers had been distributing controlled substances and alcohol to underage individuals, further elevating community concerns about their activities.
Charges Against the Brothers
Carlos Clark faces multiple charges, including:
- Two counts of conspiring to sell/deliver a Schedule I controlled substance
- Two counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule I controlled substance
- Delivering a Schedule I controlled substance
- Selling/delivering drugs within 1,000 feet of a park
- Felony marijuana possession and intent to sell/deliver
Christopher Clark was charged with:
- Two counts of selling/delivering a Schedule I controlled substance
- Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule I controlled substance
- Maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances
- Manufacturing/selling/delivering within 1,000 feet of a school
Bonds Set
Carlos was booked into jail on a $40,000 secured bond, while Christopher received a $30,000 secured bond.
The arrests highlight ongoing concerns in Huntersville about drug distribution and youth safety.
