GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA – Police say a pedestrian died Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on US 29 North near Creek Ridge Road【file-KtywQVJUW2UV4iztsfzoty】.

Crash Details

Just before 9 p.m., the Greensboro Police Department, along with Greensboro Fire and Guilford County EMS, responded to reports of a pedestrian crash. Investigators said a vehicle traveling north hit a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Driver Remained on Scene

Authorities confirmed that the driver involved in the crash stayed on scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Investigators have not released any charges, and impairment has not yet been determined.
