Pedestrian Hit and Killed in Crash on US 29 North in Greensboro
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on US 29 North near Creek Ridge Road, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Crash Details
Authorities said the crash happened just before 9 p.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound collided with a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian died at the scene, and investigators are still working to identify them.
Driver Cooperated
Police confirmed that the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
