Man Found Stabbed Multiple Times in Union Parking Lot; Suspect Arrested
UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA – Police have arrested a suspect after a man was discovered stabbed multiple times in a Union parking lot earlier this week.
Victim Airlifted After Attack
According to the Union Police Department, officers responded to 100 Tiger Court on Wednesday following reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds. The victim was immediately transported by air to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Ladarius Trevon Spears. He was taken into custody and charged with:
- Attempted murder
- Possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime
Officials have not released a motive for the stabbing.
Ongoing Investigation
