Video Captures Gunfire That Left 15-Year-Old Boy Shot at Raleigh Apartment Complex
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Surveillance video captured the terrifying moments when a 15-year-old boy was shot twice in the back at a Raleigh apartment complex last Thursday, according to Memphis police.
Shooting at Keystone Landing Apartments
The shooting happened at Keystone Landing Apartments on Ridgestone Drive. Police said the teen was later dropped off at Methodist North Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Despite being shot twice, the boy was expected to survive.
Teen’s Account of the Shooting
Investigators said the teen told them he had been riding in a car with another juvenile when a black Cadillac SUV followed them. A man in his late 20s, described as having long dreadlocks and wearing a yellow shirt with dark pants, got out of the SUV and opened fire.
Gunman Still at Large
Police are actively searching for the suspect and have asked the public for help in locating him.
