CHARLOTTE, N.C. –One person is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following an early morning stabbing incident in east Charlotte, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic).

The Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic) confirmed that paramedics responded to a call around 1:45 a.m. on July 7. The stabbing occurred in the 5200 block of North Sharon Amity Road, between Kimmerly Glen Lane and Shamrock Drive, a residential and commercial stretch often frequented by late-night traffic.

Victim’s Condition Reported as Life-Threatening

First responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and discovered a victim suffering from serious stab wounds. Medic officials stated that the individual was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries classified as life-threatening.

As of now, the identity of the victim has not been released, and there is no public update on their current condition.
