SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN — Three men have been formally charged following a shooting at a gas station in Southfield that injured two innocent bystanders, according to local authorities.

“We knew where they were the whole time. We were tracking their movements as we built our case,” Barron said. Police said the extended investigation allowed authorities to coordinate arrests without further risk to the public.

According to police, one suspect fled to Dallas, Texas, while the other two hid in surrounding Michigan communities. All three suspects were arrested this month during separate operations.
