NORTH CAROLINA — A Pennsylvania woman was killed in a tragic crash in North Carolina while traveling with family to her cousin’s wedding in South Carolina, authorities and relatives confirmed.
Crash Claims Life of 25-Year-Old Bethany Nash
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Bethany Nash of North Braddock, Pennsylvania. Family members said Nash was riding in a car with her sister, Mychayla Nash, and two cousins when the crash occurred.
According to relatives, the driver of a truck hauling a boat turned into their car, fatally injuring Bethany. Her parents were traveling a few hours behind in a separate vehicle when they received word of the accident.

Loved ones described Bethany as a positive, giving person who always thought of others before herself.
“She was so kind and positive, and she just brought this whole different lightness to this world,” her sister Mychayla said.
Her father, Michael Nash, said the grief is unbearable:

Her mother, Jennifer Nash, emphasized Bethany’s selflessness:

“Even in death, she gives. That’s what made her special because she always gave,” her father said.
