SOUTH GEORGIA — Several South Georgia counties are under a Flood Watch this weekend as heavy rains continue to impact the region.

Officials said Lowndes County is also under a Flash Flood Warning until 9 p.m. Saturday, as saturated soils and ongoing rain create hazardous conditions.

According to emergency officials, the following counties are under a Flood Watch through 2 a.m. Sunday:
