Neighborhood Concerns Over Gun and Drug Activity
The Reagan Drive corridor, where the incident unfolded, has been flagged in recent years by city officials as an area of concern for ongoing illegal drug and weapons trafficking.
“These kinds of busts highlight what’s at stake — both for public safety and the broader issue of illegal guns in our communities,” one nearby business owner said, asking not to be named.
CMPD has not confirmed whether more arrests are expected or if the suspect was part of a broader criminal network.
