Frontier officials said the fare promotions are designed to give customers a reason to try the airline now, before the full range of comfort upgrades launches next year.

Executives believe that once passengers get a taste of the improvements, they’ll be more likely to book with Frontier again. It’s a strategy focused on first impressions and repeat business, which is essential in a competitive market like Detroit.
