North Carolina Woman Arrested in Adair County After Traffic Stop and Drug Possession Charges

COLUMBIA, Ky. — A 45-year-old woman from Old Fort, North Carolina, has been arrested in Adair County, Kentucky, after a traffic stop uncovered drugs and multiple vehicle violations, according to a report from WBKO News.

Incident Began With Shoplifting Call

The Columbia Police Department said officers initially responded to a shoplifting complaint at a local Walmart on October 10. During the response, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Raquel Lenae Ferotti, 45, of Old Fort, North Carolina.

After conducting an on-scene investigation, police determined that Ferotti was under the influence and in possession of illegal substances. She was taken into custody and charged with several offenses.
