North Carolina Man Arrested for Secret Peeping at Raleigh Best Buy
RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man has been arrested after police say he was caught secretly recording a person in a bathroom at a Best Buy store on Capital Boulevard.
Suspect Identified as Local Chiropractor
The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Jeremy Michael Rolow. According to court documents, Rolow was accused of using his cellphone to record an individual inside a private bathroom at the electronics retailer.
Rolow is listed as a doctor with the Durham Chiropractic Injury Center, a business that has more than 100 five-star reviews on Google. Local media reported that attempts were made to contact the center for comment on Rolow’s employment status.
Arrest and Court Appearance
Rolow was taken into custody by Raleigh police on Monday. He is being held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Community Reaction and Legal Consequences
The incident has raised concern among Raleigh residents, especially given the public setting of the alleged offense. Under North Carolina law, secret peeping is a serious charge that can carry both criminal penalties and professional consequences, particularly for individuals in positions of public trust.
The investigation into the case is ongoing as authorities work to determine if there may be additional victims.
