Greensboro Woman Dies After Being Struck While Riding Electric Scooter on Creek Ridge Road

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 25-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter on Creek Ridge Road, according to Greensboro police.

Crash Happened Early Friday Morning

Authorities said the collision occurred around 4:51 a.m. Friday between Riverside Drive and U.S. 29. Emergency crews from Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS responded to the scene.

The victim, identified as Brittany Danielle McDuffie of Greensboro, was traveling east on Creek Ridge Road when her scooter was struck by a vehicle going in the same direction.

Victim Dies From Injuries

McDuffie was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance. Despite medical efforts, officials confirmed she died from her injuries on Sunday.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Investigation Ongoing

Greensboro Police said the case remains under review by the department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit. No charges or further details have been released as of Sunday.
