GREENBRIER, ARKANSAS — A Greenbrier man has been taken into custody on serious charges out of North Carolina, where authorities say he is accused of committing sex crimes against a child under the age of 15.

Arkansas State Police confirmed that 40-year-old Bobby Joe Lawson was arrested on September 12 by state troopers and Greenbrier police officers. The arrest was carried out under a warrant issued in Asheville, North Carolina.
