Hollywood Elementary School
Fifth Grade Farewell

With the theme being Heart of a Hornet and Tiger Proud, Hollywood Elementary School honored our fifth grade students with a “Fifth Grade Farewell Parade” on June 3rd beginning at Hollywood Elementary School and traveling to Saluda Middle School.
The HES administration and teachers, along with the Hollywood Hornet, wished the students a ROCKIN’ farewell, as they left the HES campus.  Then, the Saluda County Sheriff’s Department escorted our 5th grade students and families along the route of Hollywood Rd., Denny Hwy, Long Rd., Hwy 378, and Ivory Key Rd. to Saluda Middle School, where many faculty/staff and community members waved and cheered for our HES 5th graders.
Once the parade arrived at Saluda Middle School, the administration, as well as the Saluda Tiger greeted them with warm smiles and big waves to the Saluda Middle School campus where they will begin their journey as a 6th grade student for the upcoming school year. HES is so proud of the hard work and dedication our fifth graders have exhibited while being students at Hollywood Elementary!
We wish them well and expect them to continue to ROCK at SMS!
